Portal analytics
The Analytics page gives you a quick read on how the portal is being used, and, just as usefully, what customers are searching for that they can’t find. It’s visible to the forum owner and admins; agents and finance teammates don’t have access.
Pick a time range (7, 30, or 90 days) at the top of the page; everything below updates to match.
Views over time
Section titled “Views over time”A simple bar chart of page views per day across the selected range. Use it to spot trends: a spike after a product launch or an outage, or a steady climb as your portal gets more traffic over time.
Top questions
Section titled “Top questions”Your ten most-viewed questions, by all-time view count. This list isn’t limited to the selected date range, it’s a running total, so it reflects which questions have been useful over the long run, not just recently. Click through to see any question on the live portal.
Activity
Section titled “Activity”Counts of what happened on your portal in the selected range: new questions asked, new replies posted, and replies marked as the solution. A healthy, active portal usually has more replies and solutions than open questions: a growing backlog of unsolved questions is a sign your team needs to catch up.
No-result searches
Section titled “No-result searches”This is the most actionable panel. It lists what customers searched for that returned nothing, a direct signal of content you don’t have yet. If the same term shows up repeatedly, that’s a strong candidate for your next question, category, or documentation page. Think of it as your customers telling you what to write next.
Where this lives
Section titled “Where this lives”All of the above is on the Analytics page in your dashboard
(/w/{your-forum}/analytics).
